@utprizzo yeah I say the same thing annual payments more than likely unless it not convinient!!!!!! it feels good to only imagine!!!!! then you wake up and see the reallity!!!!!

I truly respect him for staying put in NYC after winning a 168 million dollar jackpot and virtually telling the whole world about it. Though he oculd have just been fibbing for the cameras.

I guarantee you he’s going to have cousins coming from all over talking about how they would go out clubbing on Saturdays back in the 80s at a bar on 60th street, lol…

God bless you and do the right thing…
If you ever need help in spending call me lol,

yes. It also fends off your relative sharks who will be swimming around you, all competing to get that decisive bite on your ass. Getting annual payments complicate their strategy somewhat.

  6. utprizzoon 07 Mar 2010 at 9:18 am

I say annual payments because you don’t want to spend it all and then have nothing..it really happens people spend millions in 5 years and are absolutely broke

  7. DLUVRL2on 07 Mar 2010 at 10:09 am

why don’t they ever post what numbers were played? god bless

  8. cdawg43oon 07 Mar 2010 at 10:29 am

i meant “someone on the inside ISN’T claiming”

  9. cdawg43oon 07 Mar 2010 at 10:47 am

it’s almost like a drug.. a cheap drug. up until the drawing, your imagination starts running rampant about what you will do once you win, and then when it gets close to 10:59 pm drawing, your heart begins racing… and then the huge disappointment afterward (like most drugs). haha it’s so fun and addicting, even if you don’t win!

me too just started playing about two weeks ago too!!!!! ahahha!!!!! thats funny!!!!! boy makes your life little more interesting just to think but then again you just come back to reallity!!!!! ahahahah!!!!!!!!

  11. cdawg43oon 07 Mar 2010 at 11:45 am

yes young and healthy indeed, because if you happen to die, then the state takes whatever money that was owed to you from the remaining years. nobody else is able to receive it. Good luck! i just started playing 2 weeks ago.

  12. cdawg43oon 07 Mar 2010 at 12:14 pm

also, if you take the the annual payments, you have to take care of taxes every single year. lots of winners get screwed in the end because they completely disregard their taxes (lottery payments are considered income, therefore income tax is required to get reported and filed.) lots of federal lawsuits and stuff if you forget about them taxes…

  13. elchalino1on 07 Mar 2010 at 12:44 pm

seems to me that annual looks like the smartest decision for young healthy people? with “decent” interest. but the whole point is first lets win and then we can talk about numbers!!!!! witch brings me back to reality!!!!!!!!!!

  14. elchalino1on 07 Mar 2010 at 1:30 pm

thanxs for the advice!!! very true family will finally come around and remember you ahahahha!!!!!!

  15. cdawg43oon 07 Mar 2010 at 1:59 pm

most states, except for Delaware, require you to submit your name and address. people can then find your phone number through other means, including the internet. it’s the law, and it’s also a way to make sure someone on the inside is claiming it all (even though they make so much from taxes and other crap). just isn’t right. seems like the money is a curse, unless you were a recluse already.

  16. cdawg43oon 07 Mar 2010 at 2:16 pm

it really depends on your lifestyle (after the lottery). if you have a great business plan/model, such as investments and savings, it might be smarter to get all that money now and then put it to work ASAP. then again, if you’re terrible about money management, it might be safer to go with the annual payments. take into account all the new attention you will be receiving from old and new “friends” and family. finally, if you think that 2012 is real, then get that lump sum and spend spend spend.

  17. elchalino1on 07 Mar 2010 at 3:01 pm

got a question so whats smarter annual payments or the whole one large slump of money?

  18. oudbrakkensteinon 07 Mar 2010 at 3:54 pm

    ur right men !
    ( are u from holland ? )

  19. tonmagicwonon 07 Mar 2010 at 4:28 pm

@cortezforever you can do most anything you want with $330,000 a ”{month}” if anybody beggs to differ ”they dreamin” thats 1,000,000 in 3 months most dr. or lawyers dont make that in a ”year

  20. cortezforeveron 07 Mar 2010 at 4:48 pm

yeah, but for every american dollar you have you owe around $1.14 it’s called fiat money. if you win you should get all the money, not money management if you get what i mean.

  21. cdawg43oon 07 Mar 2010 at 4:53 pm

it gains interest, so you get more each year. and it takes inflation into account.

  22. cortezforeveron 07 Mar 2010 at 5:51 pm

Because it’s about power and control. Ten winners is more powerful then one winner, especially if the winners are from the same group. But you are right. It’s still bullshit if you win $168 million dollars then you should get all the fucking money not $4 million dollars a year. It all comes back to power and control again. If you have the money all at once you can do more in your youth, but at $4 million a year it would take 40 years to get all of it.

  23. SteveDutchyon 07 Mar 2010 at 6:28 pm

I support lottery.. sure, why not. But why so much for 1 person? SPlit it so that 10 people get 16.8 milion

  24. krypptikksouslayeron 07 Mar 2010 at 7:12 pm
